                      Picture
This is the first year for Sausage Fest. All of the proceeds go to The American Cancer Society (ACS). The purpose of this philanthropy is to raise awareness and aid the fight against testicular cancer. Attendees will have the choice of brats or hotdogs as well as other barbeque foods. Pizza and sandwiches will be available to those who do not like brats and hotdogs. There will be a raffle with prizes up to $115! The event lasts from 11:00 am-3:00 pm on Saturday October 15th. Sausage Fest takes place on 25th Street (between College Street and Olive Street). In the event of bad weather we will hold it in The Wesley Foundation, which is at the same location. There will also be different events throughout the day such as games and save to shave (make donations for each of the Ksig guys to buzz or shave their heads!)

                      First Year Goal- $1,000

Dodging for Diabetes - Spring Philanthropy

                      Picture
Every spring we have Dodging for Diabetes ("D4D"). All of the proceeds go to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Teams of 6-8 people compete in a double elimination tournament to come out on top. "If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball."  In addition to the D4D Philanthropy, we also volunteer at the JDRF Walk at Crossroads Mall in Waterloo. We have food, drinks, and a raffle (with prizes worth up to $50!)
