Kappa Sigma is located at 2504 College Street (2 blocks up from Copyworks on The Hill). Our house is listed on the Cedar Falls Bicentennial Home registry for it's classic Victorian look. We are extremely proud of our house and the brothers go to great lengths to maintain it. Kappa Sigma is also lucky to own it's own house and control it's own premise.

You don't have to live in the fraternity house. But, it is cheaper than living anywhere else in the area. Also, the chapter house is essentially our "home away from home" while at UNI. All brothers are encouraged to regularly hang out at the house and if the stress of campus life and school gets to be too much, you can always count on someone to help you out at the house.

Over the past few years we have remodeled the house inside and out. Our goal was
to make this house into a home. We take pride in that most of the work done to
the house has been done by our members.  Most recently, the basement became the center of attention receiving a facelift that makes it practically unrecognizable.  Furniture, painted walls, and a brand new entertainment center
makes it a totally new hangout place. The bathroom has also been rennovated with
new showers, sinks and a urinal!

We also have an organization of chapter alumni - Housing Corp -  who manage the house, ensure the property is up to code, and living quality is maintained year to year. Recent projects include our new porch, sprinkler system, hardwood floors, tiling the kitchen, and new fire escape, rennovated basement, new siding, and a paved driveway.
